Traditional and asynchronous learning environments are provided for clients in a professional, inviting manner to encourage intrinsic learning. EMT-B / Rescue Technician St. Croix EMS & Rescue

Actively participate in service as a stipend EMT-Basic. Specialize in all rescue components of service including dive rescue/recovery, high angle rope rescue, swiftwater rescue, and confined space rescue and vehicle extrication. Rescue Coordinator 2006-2008. Testified and lobbied legislatures in Wisconsin to change public safety laws (allow fire, ems and rescue watercraft to operate with emergency lights and sirens when responding to emergency). Provided Presidential security detail in 2006 and dove on I35W bridge collapse.

Served as Police School Liaison Officer from 2000-2006. Specialized in sensitive crimes and hold positions as deputy emergency manager, field training officer, evidence technician, hostage/crisis negotiator, EMS instructor, grant coordinator and legislative liaison. Annual approved grant in excess of $100,000. Testified and lobbied legislatures in Wisconsin for a grass-roots change to the public safety laws that allow law enforcement officers electronic access to driver’s license photos.

Selected Achievements
Coordinated: Coordinated law enforcement agencies to work under one policy for completing alcohol compliance investigations.
Result: Developed the largest coalition in the State of WI to include 12 law enforcement agencies and one volunteer youth group.
Developed: Online Learning Management System for students to complete coursework on the Internet.
Result: Students had great access to coursework which assisted in their studies.
Lobbied:State of WI Representatives to change public safety laws.
Result: Testified twice and was successful in changing two laws to aid in public safety agencies to access electronic driver's license photos and how to respond to rescues on navigable waterways.
Coordinated: Officers participation in the WI Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics.
Result: Raised the most funds in the Indianhead Region of WI and also set a record for the most officers participating for any regional department.
Created: Field training program for the Somerset Police Department
Result: FTO program was implemented and is the current training system for the Somerset Police Department.
